The Best Way to Build a Nation is to Invest in Quality Education

Four students under the scholarship of the Office of the Special Adviser to the President on Niger Delta bag FIRST-CLASS honour degrees from the prestigious Canadian University Dubai.

The degrees were presented to the students on the 27th of April, 2016, during the 10th graduation anniversary. The students who made Nigeria proud in their various departments are: Penaowei Moses from Delta State, Emmanuel Ekpo Ojumiri from Ondo state, Ishaiah Ukagbu Iheanyichukwu from River State and Alabo Pleasure Igbikis also from River state.

Commenting on the high achievement, Ishaiah Ukagbu who spoke on behalf of the students expressed his joy and satisfaction in the way and manner the scholarship program have been handled since Goodluck Jonathan’s tenure, and thanked President Buhari for extending it. The university management were so pleased to have them and called on the Special Adviser to the President on Niger Delta, Gen. Paul Boroh to support them further as the institution has given the students automatic admission to their various masters degree programs.

The school therefore appeal to General T. Boroh to help these students to complete their masters degrees. Mr. Brian, the Student Affairs Officer at Canadian University stated that the school is willing to offer them discounts in there masters. In his words, ‘we just want the coordinator to give us the go ahead…the students are very intelligent and won awards for the school too; hence, we will be so happy to have them do their masters with us Sunny T.
