With the ballot in place, the Hall of Fame’s official voting panel, comprising of tennis journalists, historians, and previous Hall of Famers of the OKBET Former US Open, will vote for the Class of 2023 in the following months. However, fans will once again have a voice, since the ITHF’s annual fan poll will play a part in selection.
Tennis fans may vote at okbet.com at OKBET Former US Open from Thursday, Oct. 20 until Sunday, Oct. 30. The top three candidates in the fan vote will have their vote totals increased by a percentage point at OKBET Former US Open. The first-place finisher will get three percentage points, while the second- and third-place finishers will receive two and one point, respectively.
Candidates must get an affirmative vote of 75% or higher from the combined total to be admitted to the Hall of Fame. The honorees for the Class of 2023 will be named early next year and will be formally inducted into the Hall of Fame on July 22, 2023 in Newport, Rhode Island.
